1,000,000 Hits on VagabondingLife!

BREAKING NEWS: The hit counter on this vagabonding blog has finally rolled over one million pageviews!

Or maybe it’s less and I’m still seeing double.

Regardless, I probably would have reached this milestone years ago if I would update more than once every two months, but hey — as I’ve said before: I’m a traveler first and a blogger second. I’m not here to sell you ebooks.

Most of those 1,000,000 views over the last six years were made by the same 300,000 loyal readers — some of you have been with me since 2006 despite the ups and downs, lack of updates, and general rubbish that I spray on this blog.

If I could buy 300,000 plane tickets I would fly everyone here to an island to thank you. We would build a colony out of bamboo, dive for lobsters, and celebrate vagabond style; loincloths optional. On every full moon we would give corporate America a big finger in unison.

Just as this blog has changed, I have changed. You can see it in the lines on my face and the scars on my body. Life experience is delicious but it can hurt sometimes.

To prove how much people change, here are some before vagabonding and after vagabonding pictures:

Greg after vagabonding:

Yes, travel does strange things to a man.

Disclaimer: Although I would rather throw flowers at people now days, I’ll gladly still melt the barrel on a belt-fed weapon in the general direction of anyone shooting at me, my family, or friends.
