The pyramids in Giza
To follow up on my previous post about the new 7 wonders of the world, it looks like the vote has been cast.

If you can believe, mankind is banding together (excluding Egypt which is not so happy) to vote on a NEW 7 wonders of the world. Part of the reasoning for starting the new vote is that only 1 of the original ancient wonders, the pyramids in Giza, is still around. The old list was:

They say that when you are about to die your whole life flashes before your eyes.
However, over the last 10 years of adventure, every time I knew for sure that I was finished, I had a different experience. One single important event from the past would pop into my head clear and bright, and stay there as time slowed down and I waited for the inevitable.
