First, thanks to everyone for the kind words and emails about what happened.

Please direct your thoughts and prayers to Elin’s nice family in Sweden, they need it more than I do.

At this point, still not sure which direction my trip will take. For now, I have decided to press on deeper into Indonesia by going to Flores, a long chain of mountainous/volcanic terrain on the way to Timor and Papua.  One of the planned highlights of my trip was to see the Komodo dragons, and that is the only place in the world (outside of zoos) where you can find them.

I think its a good place to get lost for a while and give me time to think…away from the crowds and people that are here to party.  Elin would have done the same thing, so in her memory I am heading to the jungle.

Internet access will only get worse, so I apologize for such infrequent updates and the lack of pictures (still).
