Great article.

I recently scheduled a trip to Portland to explore for a week. I'm bring just my camera and a backpack and cannot wait. I was searching through your site and reading further when I came across "The cubicle." Let me just say that I think something clicked for me today. I've been moving around the country for 3 years now, working in different cubicles in different cities (Las Vegas now) and have fallen in love with the road. From what I've experienced of it. This might be the start of something special for me. And it will start with Portland, OR. Thank you.

I'm glad you're enjoying Portland (my hometown)! If you have time might I suggest visiting The Grotto, Powell's Books, and either the mountains (Mt Hood) or the ocean (Lincoln City).
