Holy jetlag Batman!

Wow – I’ve heard that West coast jetlag is the worst because its not extreme like Europe or Asia, and it sneaks up on your body. I guess that makes Alaska’s 4 hour difference the reason why the last 2 nights I could not go to sleep until 06:00 and did not wake up until 14:30.

Have I turned vampire?

Maybe that explains why my family avoids me and throws random garlic and holy water at me sometimes?

oh well, I always was fond of biting necks anyways.

It’s interesting to accidentally find your blog. I’m a Thai living in Bangkok, working in a cubicle at an American bank. As you could have guessed, I had very little ideas about what backpackers do when their are on the road.

We do see you guys walking with that gigantic backpack, browsing around town with a map on one hand. Some of you have lots of piercing, some tattoos. most with dirty looking clothes, and many are associated with drugs. Admittedly, many of you scare us in a way…mostly with the potentially smelly odor. ;)

That’s narrow-minded way to see things of course. So you can imagine how very interesting it is for me to get to learn about a life of a backpacker like you walking on the streets of Thailand.

Glad that you had good times here and wish you will come back soon.

Note: While having to get back to work on the 2007 budget plan scheduled to be submitted to NY by mid-August, I can’t help but wonder what in the world do you do for a living to be this lucky???

  • Thanks for the comment Suri, I assure you that I have nothing pierced, I dont do drugs (unless redbull counts), and I shower regularly. :) I loved Thailand and I plan on going back in 2007 to maybe live for a while. I just save money like crazy and dont buy things I dont need. Anyone can do it, jing jing!
