Free Flights?

Yes, it sounds too good to be true.

I got an email from Air Asia promoting free flights for next year. Out of curiosity and other than the fact you have to pay the tax for the ticket, it looks legit! The trick is that you have to book now and then travel next year between April and July 2009.

Those dates pretty much put you into the monsoon season for Southeast Asia but it is the perfect time to hit up Bali, Indonesia or China. Not a bad deal for someone planning a vagabonding getaway next year. They even have a little chart showing what freebies are still available.

OK, call me stupid. But it looks like you have to be in one of those countries before you can take the free/cheap flight? So you first have to get over there.

I followed your link and would love to take advantage of this offer but I dont see a way to actually BOOK the offer?? Do you have any other information?

Oops…yeah, you’re right Victoria, you can’t book from US or Europe, so this would only be handy for hops while you are already out….best bet might be to grab a cheap flight to Bangkok or Singapore and then hop from there.
